Bell call forwarding codes
On a Bell Home phone, dial *72 and the number to forward every call, and *73 to turn it off. Bell Mobility publishes no dial codes for cell phones: you turn call forwarding on from your phone's Call Settings menu.

- Cost: Call Forwarding is a monthly calling feature you add to your Bell Home phone. Long distance fees apply when you forward to a number outside your local calling area, and long distance forwarding is not available in all areas.
- Bell publishes an all-calls code only for Bell Home phone, with no busy or no-answer code.
- For a number outside your local area, dial 1 before the 10-digit number.
- Collect calls are billed to your number, not to the number you forward to.
Bell Mobility
Bell: call forwarding on your mobile phone
- Cost: You can add Call Forwarding to your Bell Mobility rate plan for a monthly fee, or use it pay-per-use at $0.25 a minute. Bell adds the pay-per-use charges automatically if the feature is not in your plan.
- To stop forwarding and get your voicemail back, select Deactivate All from the deactivation menu.

Lift the handset and dial: *72. Listen for three beeps followed by a dial tone. Dial the number calls should go to: NUMBER. If someone answers, keep the line open for at least 5 seconds. If it is busy or no one answers, wait 3 seconds and repeat.

Check the result
Follow any prompts on your phone. If the request is rejected, check the instructions for your service before trying again.

Ring your number from another phone. Check that the destination receives the call. To turn it off later, dial *73.

What to know about call forwarding on Bell
Call Forwarding or No Answer Transfer
Bell sells two different features. Call Forwarding moves calls from the first ring, so your cell phone does not ring at all. No Answer Transfer rings your cell phone first and only moves the calls you don't answer. If you want to pick up when you can, No Answer Transfer is the one you want.
Forwarding to a landline or a cell phone
On most Bell Mobility rate plans you save airtime by forwarding your calls to a landline. If you forward to another cell phone, the airtime is billed to that phone's account.
Home Hub 3000 and rotary phones
If your Bell Home phone runs through a Home Hub 3000 modem, dial *72, then the number followed by #, and listen for a confirmation message. On a rotary phone, dial 1172 to turn forwarding on and 1173 to turn it off.
Forward calls from your phone's settings
Use the phone settings supported by your plan. The menu names vary by device. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on, so your phone will not ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
