Rogers call forwarding codes
To forward calls you don't answer on Rogers wireless, dial *61*, the 10-digit number, then #. Use *21* instead to forward every call, and ##61# or ##21# to turn it off.

- Cost: Most Rogers plans include Canada-wide calling, which applies to call forwarding too. On plans with local calling, forwarded calls are charged depending on whether the number is in the local calling area, and forwarding can add roaming or airtime charges on top of long distance.
- Busy, no-answer and unreachable forwarding do not work while voicemail is on.
- To change the number, cancel the forward and set it again with the new number.

- Unanswered calls move on after 4 rings.
- Cost: If you forward to a number outside your local calling area, the usual long distance charges are billed to your account when the call is answered.
- Calls can only be forwarded to Canadian and US numbers.
- Outside your local calling area, dial 1 before the 10-digit number.
- Once the number answers, stay on the line for at least five seconds or forwarding will not turn on. If it is busy or no one answers, dial the code and number again and listen for 2 beeps.
- Only one call is forwarded at a time. Other callers get a busy signal.

What to know about call forwarding on Rogers
Voicemail blocks conditional forwarding
Rogers says conditional forwarding will not work when voicemail is activated. That covers no answer (*61*), busy (*67*) and unreachable (*62*). If you want your phone to ring first and send only missed calls elsewhere, voicemail has to come off your line first. All-calls forwarding with *21* is not affected.
Pause a forward without losing the number
Rogers also publishes codes to pause a forward and switch it back on later without typing the number again. #61# pauses no-answer forwarding and *61# resumes it; the same pattern works with 21, 67 and 62. ##61# cancels it completely.
Rogers Home Phone and voicemail
On Rogers Home Phone, *92 forwards unanswered calls and *90 forwards calls when the line is busy. If you subscribe to Rogers voicemail, those codes only switch voicemail on and off. To forward busy or unanswered calls to another number, you have to drop voicemail and add the forwarding feature or Home & Away Online-Manager, which also lets you control forwarding online.
Forward calls from your phone's settings
Your phone may also offer call forwarding in its settings, depending on your device and plan. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on. Use a supported no-answer option if you want your phone to ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
If the code doesn't work
"Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
The network did not accept the request. Check you have signal, turn off Wi-Fi calling and airplane mode, then dial the code again exactly as shown.
"Setting activation failed" or "unsuccessful"
The network refused the divert. Some plans block diverts to other numbers, and some networks want the number in international form. Check the notes on this page, or set it up in your phone settings instead.
Calls still go to voicemail
Voicemail is itself a divert, and only one can be active for each condition. Setting a new divert replaces the voicemail one. If calls still reach voicemail, cancel all diverts and set yours again.
