To forward every call on Xfinity Voice or Xfinity Mobile, dial *72 and the 10-digit number. On Xfinity Mobile, dial *71 and the number to forward only the calls you don't answer. Dial *73 to turn forwarding off.

From your Xfinity landline, dial *72NUMBER, replacing NUMBER with the number calls should go to.

Follow any prompts on your phone. If the request is rejected, check the instructions for your service before trying again.

Test it
Ring your number from another phone. Check that the destination receives the call. To turn it off later, dial *73.

What to know about call forwarding on Xfinity
Three kinds of forwarding on Xfinity Voice
Besides the star codes, Xfinity Voice has three forwarding options in your account. Basic Call Forwarding sends every call to one number. Advanced Call Forwarding forwards calls to up to four numbers in addition to your home phone. Selective Call Forwarding sends calls from specific trusted numbers to one number.
Setting up Xfinity Voice forwarding online
Sign in to Xfinity Voice Call Forwarding Settings with your Primary or Manager Xfinity ID, or in the Xfinity app go to Services, Home Phone, then View Xfinity Voice features. Under Basic Call Forwarding, enter the 10-digit number and select Update. Basic and Selective Call Forwarding can also be managed from the home phone.
Ring first on Xfinity Mobile
On Xfinity Mobile, *71 lets your phone ring first and only sends the call on if you don't answer it. *72 skips your phone entirely. The Xfinity Voice star codes only cover forwarding every call.
Forward calls from your phone's settings
Your phone may also offer call forwarding in its settings, depending on your device and plan. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on. Use a supported no-answer option if you want your phone to ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
