Vodafone call diversion codes
To divert calls you don't answer on a Vodafone plan, dial **61*, the number, then #. Dial #61# to turn it off, or ##002# to cancel every diversion. Prepaid services can only divert to voicemail or Call Catcher.

Vodafone says prepaid services can forward calls to voicemail or Call Catcher, and can't divert calls to other numbers or services.
To send calls to another number, you need a Vodafone plan or a different provider.

What to know about call diversion on Vodafone
Turning diversions off
Vodafone uses a single # at the start of its turn-off codes, such as #61# for no answer and #21# for all calls. ##002# cancels every diversion at once, and ##004# cancels only the conditional ones: no answer, busy and unreachable. You can also cancel an all-calls diversion by dialling 1213.
How long it rings first
Vodafone's voicemail page says an unanswered call goes to voicemail after 15 seconds. Vodafone does not publish a code to change that ring time, so the no-answer code has no seconds field.
Diverting while overseas
Diverting costs nothing extra in Australia, but roaming changes that. With a conditional diversion to a number other than voicemail, Pay As You Go roaming charges you for the call from Australia to where you are and for the diversion back to Australia. On $5 Roaming it is charged as if you were in Australia, and it triggers the $5 daily fee. An all-calls diversion costs nothing while roaming.
Divert calls from your phone's settings
Your phone may also offer call forwarding in its settings, depending on your device and plan. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on. Use a supported no-answer option if you want your phone to ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
If the code doesn't work
"Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
The network did not accept the request. Check you have signal, turn off Wi-Fi calling and aeroplane mode, then dial the code again exactly as shown.
"Setting activation failed" or "unsuccessful"
The network refused the divert. Some plans block diverts to other numbers, and some networks want the number in international form. Check the notes on this page, or set it up in your phone settings instead.
Calls still go to voicemail
Voicemail is itself a divert, and only one can be active for each condition. Setting a new divert replaces the voicemail one. If calls still reach voicemail, cancel all diverts and set yours again.
