How to forward calls on Aircall
Forward Aircall calls from the Dashboard user Call Preferences. Add one external number; it rings alongside the app, and answered calls cost extra.

Set this up in your Aircall account:
- In the Aircall Dashboard, open Users and Teams > All users and choose the user.
- Open Call Preferences, then Forward call to an external number.
- Click Add a phone number, enter the destination, then click Add.
- Keep the user available. If an automated answering service cannot press 1, ask Aircall Support to disable that prompt before testing.

- Cost: Answered forwarded calls are charged as outbound calls.
- Do not use the destination device with the Aircall mobile app or SIP device active; Aircall warns this can interrupt service.

App and external phone ring together
This feature does not wait for the app to go unanswered. Only one call can be forwarded at a time per user, and the destination cannot be another Aircall number.
Forwarding to an automated service
The receiver normally has to press 1 within 10 seconds. Only Aircall Support can disable this check; turning forwarding off and on resets it.
