EE call divert codes
To divert calls you don't answer on EE, dial **61*+44NUMBER*20#, with the number in +44 form. The 20 is how many seconds your phone rings first, and ##002# cancels every divert.

- Cost: Setting up or changing a divert to voicemail is free. Calls diverted to another UK number are charged at your plan's call rate and come out of your allowance if that type of number is included. Diverts to numbers outside your plan, such as 08 numbers, are charged, and normal roaming charges apply abroad.
- EE Business diverts go to another number in the UK.
- Diverts have to be set up on the phone itself. EE Business says they cannot be set up remotely or by Customer Service.

What to know about call divert on EE
Setting the ring time
EE publishes 20 seconds as its no-answer example and says other delays must be divisible by 5. The guide does not state the minimum or maximum, so the code here keeps the published 20-second example.
Swapping voicemail for your own number
EE's device guides show these codes with 222, EE voicemail, as the destination, for example **61*222*20#. To divert somewhere else, put the number in +44 form where 222 sits. To send missed calls back to voicemail later, dial ##002# and then text VM ON to 150.
EE Business lines
EE Business customers can dial the same codes, or use the automated menu: call 150, then choose option 1, option 2, option 4 and option 1 to set up a divert, or option 2 at the end to remove it.
EE Digital Home Phone
Set up Call Diversion in the Voice menu on your Digital Home Phone handset. If you also use Call Barring, switch Call Diversion on first. With Voicemail active, EE says the usual interrupted dial tone will not indicate that diversion is on.
Divert calls from your phone's settings
Your phone may also offer call forwarding in its settings, depending on your device and plan. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on. Use a supported no-answer option if you want your phone to ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
If the code doesn't work
"Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
The network did not accept the request. Check you have signal, turn off Wi-Fi calling and aeroplane mode, then dial the code again exactly as shown.
"Setting activation failed" or "unsuccessful"
The network refused the divert. Some plans block diverts to other numbers, and some networks want the number in international form. Check the notes on this page, or set it up in your phone settings instead.
Calls still go to voicemail
Voicemail is itself a divert, and only one can be active for each condition. Setting a new divert replaces the voicemail one. If calls still reach voicemail, cancel all diverts and set yours again.
