How to forward calls on iD Mobile
iD Mobile doesn't publish divert codes. Call forwarding works, but you set it up in your phone's Phone or Call settings menu rather than in your iD Mobile account.

- Open your phone's Phone or Call settings menu. iD Mobile says the exact steps vary by manufacturer.
- Find Call forwarding and choose when calls should divert, such as when you do not answer.
- Enter the number calls should go to and turn it on.
- Ring your iD number from another phone to check the call arrives at the new number.
What to know about call divert on iD Mobile
Set it on the phone, not the account
iD Mobile staff confirm call forwarding can be used on iD Mobile, but it is configured through your handset settings rather than your iD Mobile account. If a service such as a virtual receptionist gives you a number that can receive forwarded calls, you should be able to forward to it from your phone's call settings.
30 seconds is the maximum ring time
On iD Mobile, the longest your phone can ring before a call diverts to voicemail is fixed at 30 seconds, and it cannot be extended beyond that. You can make it shorter, so calls move on sooner.
Divert calls from your phone's settings
Use the phone settings supported by your plan. The menu names vary by device. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on, so your phone will not ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
