How to forward calls on giffgaff
giffgaff doesn't publish divert codes. You set call forwarding in your phone's settings, and for any other handset a giffgaff agent can set it up for you.

Set this up in your phone's settings:
- On iPhone, open Settings, scroll to Phone, turn on Call forwarding and tap Forward to to enter the number.
- On Android, open the Phone app, tap the menu, then Settings, then Call forwarding.
- Pick Always forward, When busy, When unanswered or When unreachable. When unanswered only forwards calls you do not pick up.
- Add the number calls should go to and tap Turn on. For any other handset, chat with a giffgaff agent and they will set it up.

What to know about call divert on giffgaff
Sending calls back to voicemail
To have calls go to voicemail instead, enter 443 as the forwarding number. You can switch voicemail on by calling 1616 and off with 1626.
Changing how long it rings
If your phone's menu can't change how long it rings before voicemail picks up, giffgaff says an agent can change the ring time on the network for you.
iPhone Live Voicemail
If you use Live Voicemail on an iPhone, giffgaff says to turn it off. Otherwise voicemail answers after 15 seconds, whatever ring time you have set.
Divert calls from your phone's settings
Use the phone settings supported by your plan. The menu names vary by device. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on, so your phone will not ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
