To divert calls you don't answer on Vodafone pay monthly, dial **61*+44NUMBER*10*15#, replacing the first 0 of the number with +44. Change the 15 to set the ring time, and dial ##61# to turn it off.

What to know about call divert on Vodafone
The *10* in the no-answer code
Vodafone's code for a custom ring time adds *10* before the seconds: **61*+44NUMBER*10*20# rings for 20 seconds first. If you leave the ring time out and dial **61*+44NUMBER#, Vodafone's standard 15 seconds applies.
What it costs
Vodafone's divert page only prices diverts to voicemail: on pay monthly, or pay as you go with a Big Value Bundle, they use minutes from your allowance, and standard call charges apply when your minutes run out or you are roaming somewhere your plan does not cover. It does not list a separate charge for diverting to another number.
Going back to voicemail
Dial 1211 to return to the standard voicemail service, which picks up if you are busy, unreachable or do not answer in 15 seconds. 1212 sends every call to voicemail, and 1210 turns voicemail off completely.
Vodafone Business
The Vodafone Business help pages list the same codes, the same *10* ring-time field and the same rule about writing the number with +44. Diverts go to another UK landline or mobile number.
Home phone and business landlines
Vodafone Digital Voice home phones do not support call diversion. Business landlines have a separate Call Divert service; premium business plans use Smart Divert instead. Select the service above that matches your line.
Divert calls from your phone's settings
Your phone may also offer call forwarding in its settings, depending on your device and plan. The iPhone Call Forwarding switch sends every call on. Use a supported no-answer option if you want your phone to ring first.
iPhone
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Phone (on older iOS, Settings then Phone).
- Tap Call Forwarding and switch it on. If you use two SIMs, choose your business line first.
- Tap Forward To and enter the number calls should go to.
- Go back. A forwarding icon shows in the status bar while it is on.
Android
- Open the Phone app, tap the three-dot menu, then Settings.
- Tap Calls (or Supplementary services, depending on the phone), then Call forwarding.
- Choose When unanswered so your phone rings first and only missed calls move on.
- Enter the number, tap Turn on, and pick the right SIM if asked.
If the code doesn't work
"Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
The network did not accept the request. Check you have signal, turn off Wi-Fi calling and aeroplane mode, then dial the code again exactly as shown.
"Setting activation failed" or "unsuccessful"
The network refused the divert. Some plans block diverts to other numbers, and some networks want the number in international form. Check the notes on this page, or set it up in your phone settings instead.
Calls still go to voicemail
Voicemail is itself a divert, and only one can be active for each condition. Setting a new divert replaces the voicemail one. If calls still reach voicemail, cancel all diverts and set yours again.
