To divert calls you don't answer on a TalkTalk landline, dial *61*, the number, then #. TalkTalk moves the call on after 21 seconds, and #61# switches it off.

Check when calls will divert
This code sends calls you do not answer to the destination number.

Dial the code
From your TalkTalk landline, dial *61*NUMBER#, replacing NUMBER with the number calls should go to.

Check the result
Follow any prompts on your phone. If the request is rejected, check the instructions for your service before trying again.

Test it
Ring your number from another phone without answering it. Check that the destination receives the call. To turn it off later, dial #61#.

What to know about call divert on TalkTalk
Add Call Divert before you dial
The codes do nothing until Call Divert is on your account. Log in to My Account, choose Profile & Settings, then My Telephone settings. Under Calling features, tick Call Divert and select Update.
Ring time and voicemail
A no-answer divert moves the call on once it has rung for 21 seconds. TalkTalk voicemail picks up after about 32 seconds, around 12 rings, and that timing cannot be changed.
A divert you did not set
TalkTalk sometimes switches on Call Divert while it fixes a fault on your line. It should come off when the fault is fixed. If calls are still going elsewhere, dial #21# to remove it.

How do I divert my TalkTalk landline to my mobile?
Dial *21*, your mobile number, then # to send every call to your mobile. To have the landline ring first, dial *61* instead, so only calls you do not answer move to your mobile.
How do I turn off call divert on TalkTalk?
Dial #21# to cancel the all-calls divert, #61# for the no-answer divert and #67# for the busy divert. TalkTalk does not publish a single code that cancels them all.
